Mandatory CPD Requirements

The Medical Board of Australia (MBA) has mandated that doctors must attain a minimum of 50 hours of CPD per annum. The 50 hours need to be allocated across the different categories:

The remaining 12.5 hours may be from any of the three categories.

Compulsory activity

All participants must complete a Professional Development Plan (PDP). This counts towards your category 2 activities. College has created a template and guide to assist you in this activity – refer to our CPD Support and Resources “Quick Link” above.
